The Cop needs to kill or arrest NPCs who are marked as "guilty" for their Big Quest. If you play as the Blahd or Crepe, even if you free a member of the other gang from a prison cell or jail, the first thing they will do if they see you is immediately attack you. There's nothing stopping the situation from collapsing into a rather cynical anticlimax if the guards end up winning. Any time you can cause a prison break, the prisoners will immediately rush out - often being spotted by the prison's guards and beginning a fight with them. This gets even funnier if it happens out of nowhere as a glitch. The game's physics engine makes it possible for particularly powerful melee attacks to knock their targets right through particularly vulnerable walls. The Jock and Vampire are hanging out in the den, apparently drawn together by their mutual hatred of the "showers-are-fascist" hacker.Meanwhile, the Slave states they'd be at the base even if it weren't for the "'head blowing up' thing".The Slaver is surprised that the Resistance is ok with neo-slavery.The Bartender is at a loss for words after the Resistance Leaders asked them to make the base a "dry" base. The Blahd comments that him and the Crepe have a lot in common, including that they're both into standing in one spot. The Doctor, who manages traits, states they know the player's body than they do, before realizing how weird that sounds. The Investment Banker made a large bet on the player dying from accidental cyanide pill ingestion. The Cop reassures the player they're not going to arrest them, commenting that they have never made an arrest, only murdered people. The Home Base fills up with characters as you unlock them, and each one has a few lines. If you hit him admits that, yeah, he kind of deserved it. After the second Tutorial NPC spends the entire tutorial fucking with you you're granted a chance to throw one of the rocks you pick up through the fence at him.Other lines from Resistance Leaders include comments on declining leadership since the tutorial was implemented, describing how wonderful it is to have tasted a 3-year-old chicken nugget, and wondering if members should get a forehead tattoo. After completing the tutorial, the player can enter the home base and talk to a Resistance Leader, who briefly calls the mission to kill the mayor a suicide mission before performing a Verbal Backspace. If you kill the shopkeeper and the bouncer, that death count increases to three, leading the surviving NPC to comment that perhaps they should change their tutorial up somewhat.
